Association for Children with a Disability: an Australian organisation operated by parents of children with a disability offering support, education and advocacy.

Australasian Society for the Study of Intellectual Disability (ASSID): This organisation links research to practice in seeking to promote greater understanding of intellectual disability.

Carers Victoria: Carers Victoria offer counselling, advice and advocacy services for families that support a loved one with additional needs due to disability, mental health, chronic health, or aged care.

Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD): DEECD delivers services through its nine geographical regions.

Department of Human Service Regions (DHS): DHS delivers services through its eight geographical regions.  

My Time: My Time groups provide local support for mums, dads, grandparents and anyone caring for a young child under school age with a disability or chronic illness.

Parentline: Parentline provides a telephone counselling service to parents and carers of children aged from birth to eighteen years in Victoria. Professional counsellors are able to explore a variety of issues that impact on parenting and relationships as well as provide contact details for community services.
