Professional Training

Signposts professional training is available for anyone who works with families of children aged 3-16 with a developmental delay or an intellectual disability. We currently offer two types of Signposts training:

  • fee for service scheduled training for individuals in Victoria
  • contracted training to organisations

Signposts training takes place over two days. You will be expected to read the Signposts Parent Materials before the first session. These materials will be sent to you once your place has been confirmed in a training event.

At the training sessions, you will learn how to use the Facilitator Manual and other resources, practise delivering components of the program and contribute to discussion concerning the effective use of this program with families of varying needs.  You will receive an electronic copy of the Facilitator manual, and instructions on how to access further resources in the restricted area of this website.

To indicate your interest in training, download a Facilitator training request form.
